TEACHER FEEDBACK
Thank you for making it such “hands” on. I feel this is extremely important for children as this is how they prefer to learn.
West Eyreton School
(Year 3-4)
Going, going, gone forever
All sessions were really great! Your staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and well paced and made the content enjoyable to listen to. I was highly impressed.
West Melton
(Year 2-3)
Weird and wacky animals
This programme has made the trip to Orana Wildlife Park very worthwhile as the teachers and parents do not have to “skill up” on the animals before coming. Educators are very knowledgeable and obviously enjoy what they do.
Paparoa Street
(Year 5-6)
Going, going, gone forever
Really like the way Shari spoke to the students on arrival. She praised students for answering questions or attempting to suggest new ideas. It was great to see the confiscated stuff from customs to put the poaching or hunting into perspective.

Philip Marshall

Going, going, gone!
Educators conferred with the class teachers on arrival and again during sessions on the intended specific learning outcomes, and the depth of content intended. This was great and concepts were repeated with each activity to reinforce learning.
Waimairi School
(Year 1-2)
My home, my castle
The programme met our learning objectives extremely well. The children were introduced to new vocabulary and had hands on experiences.
Riccarton School
(Year 7-10)
Language experiences - Animal coverings
It was great to have Zoo School as our base to leave bags and to have a fantastic outside space for morning tea and lunch. Sessions were a good length and appropriate to the age of the children.
Harewood School
(New entrant-Year 3)
Classification.
It’s great for the students to see structures and behaviours talked about in class on live animals at the park. Thanks Shari, I will definitely be contacting you next year for my Year 13’s visit.
