Sumatran Tigers

A fantastic new Tiger habitat was opened in November 2006.  This 6,000 square metre development contains three separate exhibits for the critically endangered Sumatran Tiger.  Within each habitat, there are a range of different environmental features for the cats which also provide entertaining viewing for visitors.  A daily feed demonstration occurs at 11.30am each day and varies depending on which exhibit the cats are in.  Visitors can see the Tigers search, leap or even climb a pole for their food.
