An extensive collection of New Zealand native species is of particular appeal for visitors. Observe New Zealand kiwi, tuatara and a range of endangered birds. Orana Wildlife Park has one of the most comprehensive public displays of native geckos. A farmyard area enables visitors to pet a range of domestic animals.
