ZOO SCHOOL PROGRAMMES
The programme examples below are suggestions only and have been developed to complement the achievement objectives most commonly requested by teachers. We can adapt any programme to meet your specific learning outcomes. Where possible close up encounters, animal feeds and hands on activities are included. All programmes are conducted out in the Park in full view of the animals.

At Orana we try to design an environment that will keep our animals and visitors happy. In this programme students will observe a variety of animals in their enclosures, consider the needs of a chosen animal and discuss how they could design an enclosure. Back in class its time to make it! |
