Orana Wildlife Park is operated by a registered charitable trust as a not-for-profit organisation. Conservation of endangered species underpins our objectives. There are many ways in which you can get involved with Orana from volunteering, adopting an animal to becoming a corporate sponsor.
Orana is a community focused organisation and so we rely upon and encourage you to become part of the Park. Our volunteers are a key part of the Trust team. They fulfil critical visitor service/guiding roles, help out at some animal feeds, paint faces and much more. Becoming a member is a great way to be able to visit Orana Wildlife Park on a regular basis. Adopting an animal enables you, your family and/or your business to take a special interest in a group of our animals. Orana offers a limited range of work experience opportunities as we are committed to training the next generation of zoo keepers in particular. Commercial companies may like to investigate how they can support Orana through sponsorship opportunities.
