Whether you're looking for your favourite species or want to learn more about the care that goes on behind the scenes, this is your place to discover the wildlife that makes Orana unique and the people dedicated to helping them thrive.
Our Animals
Orana Wildlife Park is bursting with life, with over 70 incredible animal species from around the globe. Whether you’re meeting a tower of giraffe, pride of lions, conspiracy of lemurs or a mob of meerkats every animal is sure to spark curiosity and create connection that will inspire.
Caring For Our Animals
When it comes to looking after our animals, it’s important to think about every aspect of their wellbeing. Like other modern zoos around the world, we follow the Five Domains Model of Animal Welfare, which focuses on providing animals with a life of positive experiences rather than just meeting minimum care standards.
